TSA “groping”…

November 19, 2010

Open letter to Mrs. Napolitano/President Obama:

Recently, there has been a negative backlash concerning the TSA screening being done at our airports, to mostly American Citizens.  I will gladly remove my objections to this invasive violation of the 4th Amendment of the Constitution of The United States of America, as soon as, you do two things.  These are:

     1.  Convince a super majority ( that is 2/3) of the Legal American Public that YOU, Mrs. Napolitano and your 67,000 minions, have “groped” everyone that is NOT an American Citizen crossing our southern border, and

     2.  That EVERY SENIOR GOVERNMENT OFFICIAL, and their family members, succumb to the TSA “groping”, in public, EVERY time they travel by air.  This includes all Czars, all Representatives, all Senators, all Department heads, and anyone that works in the White House, and I guess I better say the President (as there is not a lot of proof of Him working).  I do not care if it is a public airline, a charter aircraft, or Nancy’s personal transport.  They must submit to a TSA “vigorous pat down”, with the public present, on every trip.

Until then, you can rest soundly at night knowing that the American Public will not willingly give up our rights, and you can count on more headaches.

The MERS fraud…

November 12, 2010

Everyone needs to do their own research into this subject.  I know it is arcane and mostly painful, but by ignoring this fraud being perpetrated upon the American Public, it will cost all of us.  Here is a brief explanation of MERS.

This article from CNBC is talking about a new “retroactive” law possibility in the lame duck session or the new congress.  This is the rich bankers paying the legislators to make a new law that protects the bankers from them essentially breaking laws that helped to put us in the financial crisis that we now find ourselves in.

The new law will let the rich bankers continue to use robo-signers in foreclosure proceedings.  These robo-signers are BY LAW supposed to EXAMINE loan documents (the ones ORIGINALLY signed by all parties) and VERIFY that the homeowner is violating the agreement and VERIFY that the organization (BANK) proposing the foreclosure, actually has a right to foreclose.

This is a simplistic explanation.  In the past if Bank 1 wanted to sell the loan to Bank #2, they would provide the documents at the transaction.  MERS was set up to streamline the process.  The money would come from Bank 2 (or a combination of Banks/investors) in Door #1.  The documents would come from Bank #1 in Door #2.  MERS would say that the transaction occurred, take a fee, and everyone is happy so long as the loan continues to get paid.  This transaction could happen multiple times with each mortgage.  The problem is MERS did NOT get all the paperwork to the appropriate people.  Now that there are foreclosures, Bank #2, who bought the loan, can not lawfully prove that they have the right to foreclose.  So, the fraudulently made up paperwork to satisfy the courts.  Now the courts have discovered this fraud, and the banks could be liable for Billions, and NOT have rights to the suspect property.

In my opinion, I do NOT have any sympathy for the banks.  They have gotten caught, not doing their jobs.  Now, they are using some of their ill-gotten gains to buy representatives to make a law that will protect them from devastation.  Call your representatives.  Let them know that CRIMINALS belong BEHIND bars.  Do not let this FRAUD continue.

Worse timeS than these??

November 8, 2010

I love this article from FoxNews where they are quoting an interview by CBS 60 minutes of The One.

Here is only one quote of the President from the interview:

“I am constantly reminded that we have been through worse times than these, and we’ve always come out on top,” he said. “And I’m positive that the same thing is going to happen this time.” (emphasis mine)

Well, I will ask a slightly different question this time.  WHEN exactly, Mr. President, besides the Great Depression, were “times worse” than NOW??  As I have stated before here, YOU said that “we are in the worst recession since the Great Depression,” Obama said on ABC. (My emphasis)”

So, which is it Mr. President??  Is this the worst since the Great Depression or isn’t it?  I suppose that this is just like you did not mean to say that some Americans are enemies.  Not the ones that are actually trying to kill us, but the “opponents” to YOUR policies.  I am awaiting your clarification, Mr. President.

Idea for a commercial…

November 4, 2010

Picture the Verizon (?) guy walking around with a cell phone saying “Can you hear me now?”.  Now get as many people as you can fit in about 25 seconds to say the same thing, one at a time (none looking at the camera).  At the very end, have someone look at the camera and say “Mr. Obama, can you hear me now??!”

I think this would be a fitting conclusion to the election season that we just had.

Let me know what you think.

America’s Misplaced Anger???

November 2, 2010

Here is an opinion piece that is posted at AOL, written by Michael Cohen.  I read many articles from many sources, but sometimes, some articles I just can not let go unchallenged.  I have chosen this one to place here, as I think my comments would be too long for their site.

First a quote from the opinion:

“In reality, bank bailouts have actually turned a healthy multibillion-dollar profit.”

My question to Mr. Cohen, “where, specifically, have you determined that the “bank bailouts” have turned a profit??  Have you, Mr Cohen, included in YOUR calculations, the “bailouts” to AIG, Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac??  I guarantee that you have NOT included these payoffs to favored entities, also known as banks, in your calculations.  THEY are STILL taking money (Billions a quarter) from US (this stat was just released last month), the American taxpayers.

Another quote:

“What about Congress? Here again, Americans have very little sense of what their representatives have actually done. Over the past two years a Democratic-controlled Congress passed comprehensive health care reform, reformed the student loan program, overhauled the financial system and passed a nearly $800 billion stimulus measure.”

What about Congress, Mr Cohen?  THEY are supposed to REPRESENT their constituents in congress.  That is US.  These programs, ALL of them, were all opposed by MORE than 50% of US (from almost ALL opinion polls), their constituents.  So, to say that they actually DID something is correct, the problem is that the American public as a whole did NOT want these actions!!  So, to imply that these were positive accomplishments, is either naive or deceitful.

Another quote:

“The policies enacted by Democrats have — whether one agrees with them or not — created nearly 3 million jobs…”

Unfortunately, Mr. Cohen, assuming of course that your statement is accurate, the USA NEEDED about 5 Million MORE jobs to be created during this time period, for it to reduce the unemployment rate to around 5% (from the Bureau of Labor Statistics).  Where are these “3 million jobs” that the “policies of the Democrats” created??  Were they low paying, temporary census jobs?  I want to know, specifically, where you get your numbers.  One could argue, that your democrats policies have HINDERED job creation, and have made the situation much worse than it would have been.

Another quote:

“In short, the policy agenda — whether one opposes it or not — has been tailored to relieving the economic burden on the American people.”

One, who opposes the policy agenda, could argue that the “economic burden” on the American people has been exacerbated by the policies of the Democrats of the 111th Congress and that THEY have failed miserably.  I could go on critiquing this article, however, I will wait for a response based on facts.

My main comment to Mr. Cohen, is this.  If you would like to continue to post YOUR opinion, please, provide the sources of statements, that you make as facts.  If you would like to debate the pros and cons of your opinion, there are many who will do so.  But, please, start with a full understanding of the FACTS!
