Sometimes the news propaganda is so blatant that I HAVE TO CALL IT OUT!!!!
This could be funny….IF YOU LIKE SICK AND TWISTED JOKES!!!!
Here is the headline of the day, and this is from Fox News (You know the only “conservative” news source “in the entire world”, the “fair and balanced” network):
“Weekly Jobless Claims Rise to 344,000”
and here is the quote that is a complete and total mischaracterization of the FACTS, and it is THE FIRST SENTENCE OF THE ARTICLE:
“The number of Americans filing new claims for unemployment benefits unexpectedly rose last week, but the underlying trend continued to point to improving labor market conditions.” (emphasis added)
Huh??? WTF are they talking about?????
Here is another quote from later in the article:
“The four-week moving average for new claims, considered a better measure of underlying labor market conditions as it irons out week-to-week volatility, rose only 3,000 to 320,000.”
Let’s just forget about the gratuitous “only” that is not highlighted. The 4 week average ROSE 3,000, that means INCREASED. Got it?? Let’s go back and look at “the underlying trend” that THEY MENTION IN THE FIRST SENTENCE.
Here is last weeks quote:
And the week before quote:
Notice that the week after they say that the number rose “ONLY” 4,750, but this week we were not supplied with a fell “ONLY” 4,750. I wonder why that could be??? I mean it is the SAME AMOUNT.
AND the week before quote:
AND the week before quote:
So, over the last month, the 4 week average has had a fall ROSE 500 from 319,500 to 320,000. Yeeeeaaaaaahhhhh!!!! Now I see “the trend”. Or we can go back farther, say to the beginning of the One’s ascendancy to the throne, and the trend would be “astronomically” better. Or we could go back to the beginning of the last President’s reign, and the “trend” would be HORRIBLE, and if we go back further it only looks worse.
Oh, and just to throw more cold water on the subject i have 2 more things; 1. the 500 number does not include the adjustment that have been made to the weekly numbers, that HAVE ALL BEEN INCREASES and 2. the 500 number IS A ROUNDING ERROR, meaning that the number is more or less UNCHANGED, BUT I would be willing to wager that it HAS NOT FALLEN, as this administration is DOING EVERYTHING IT CAN TO MANIPULATE THE NUMBERS TO LOOK THE ABSOLUTE BEST THAT THEY CAN.
If this comes from the news organization that is “trying to tell the truth” how do you think all the obviously biased news sources are spinning it???
We just want THE TRUTH!!!
