EnvironMENTAL Protection Agency and environMENTAlists….

January 25, 2011

This recent anniversary got me thinking.

“On January 24, 1848, James Marshall, an employee/partner of Sutter’s, found several flakes of gold that began the transformation of California from a sleepy outpost to a bustling center of activity.”

Here is my question:

Would California have reached such prominence, if all of the Gold Prospectors and related industries  had to comply with all of the environMENTALists requirements??

I am not saying that I want wonton destruction of the environment, but California (and ALL of the states on the way) WAS able to survive (and some say PROSPER) with the great influx of economic activity brought by the Gold Rush.  We need to start ELIMINATING government regulations, and we need to declaw the environMENTAList law machine!!!  America can be GREAT again, if we just let it.
