Ground Zero Mosque

August 18, 2010

I thought everyone would like this quote, I think it is all you need to say to defend your opposition to the building of the Mosque at Ground Zero.

It is not a way of improving your rights and exercising your freedoms when you use these rights for insulting the most sacred values and symbols of others and inciting hatred…This is a very wrong, provocative path — unacceptable.”

I think that says it all.  Who said that, you ask?

It is from Ekmeleddin Ihsanoglu, the Turkish Secretary General of the Jeddah-based Organization of the Islamic Conference (OIC), the world’s unique pan-Islamic political body, comprised of 57 members, including secular Turkey.  Here is the quote as printed in the American Thinker and here is the original audio.  Unfortunately he was stating his, and Islams, opposition to the printing of 12 CARTOONS

But, I would like to say thank you, to Mr. Ihsanoglu, for so eloquently stating the reason for opposing the Ground Zero Mosque.
