Is ObamaCare constitutional???

December 22, 2010

Is ObamaCare constitutional?

That seems to be one of the most important questions being asked these days.  I am not a legal scholar, but neither were our Founding Fathers.   From the arguments I have seen, I would have to say not only no, but Hell NO!!  This is just my opinion.  At least one federal court, at this time, also feels that ObamaCare is unconstitutional.  I do know that this will go before the Supreme Court, unless it is repealed before then.  I do not feel that I have given the authority to any government to dictate what I HAVE to buy with my own money.  Not only that, but I will NEVER give that authority!!  However, I do have a proposal for the new Congress.  If the Supreme Court rules that it is unconstitutional, what should happen next?

Lets introduce a Bill that states:

Should the Judicial Branch rule, including appeals, that any Law is unconstitutional, then 1) any Congressperson or Senator that voted FOR the Bill, and the President that signs the Bill into Law; shall forfeit all future compensation from the United States government, including any retirement compensation, any health benefits, any death benefits, any protection benefits, etc. 2)  Any current Member of Congress or current Senator or current President; shall be immediately expelled from their position.  3)  After being expelled from their positions, their new title will include Disgraced.  For example; the Disgraced Senator or the Disgraced Congressperson or the Disgraced President.  4)  If that person then runs for another position in the Legislative Branch, the Executive Branch or the Judicial Branch and wins that position, the position will be uncompensated.

These people have Sworn an Oath (Senators, Congresspeople, President).

I do solemnly swear (or affirm) that I will support and defend the Constitution of the United States against all enemies, foreign and domestic; that I will bear true faith and allegiance to the same; that I take this obligation freely, without any mental reservation or purpose of evasion; and that I will well and faithfully discharge the duties of the office on which I am about to enter: So help me God.

Personally, I am no longer willing to solely wait for the judgement of God.  I feel that there needs to be a penalty for Breaking their Oath here and now!

I do not think that anyone should be “testing” the limits of the Constitution.  Let me know what you think.

Senator Kent Conrad is an IDIOT

January 21, 2010

Well which is it?  Is this the worst recession that the United States has had since The Great Depression or is it WORSE than that????    Huhh???

The following is a quote from Senator Kent Conrad, DEMOCRAT from North Dakota, on January 21, 2010.  That is the day after Scott Brown, a Republican, was elected to the Senate in the state of Massachusetts.  You know, the most democrat state in the most democrat region of the United States.

“I think part of the problem is the agenda itself,” said Conrad, who doesn’t face voters again until 2012. Instead of spending so much time on health care reform, Conrad said Democrats should have focused first on reducing the national debt and a bipartisan energy bill — and that President Barack Obama should have done a better job of explaining that the economic situation he inherited was “far worse” than he’d originally thought.(My emphasis)

The following is a quote from President-Elect Obama, The One, on January 11, 2009.

“Whether it’s retail sales, manufacturing, all of the indicators show that we are in the worst recession since the Great Depression,” Obama said on ABC. (My emphasis)

No, Senator Conrad, the problem IS the agenda, and that is why the American people are going to throw all of you lying politicians out of office as soon as we can.  You STILL do NOT get it!!!!!

The AARP Scam

December 18, 2009

The American Association of Retired Persons (AARP).  Another SCAM on the American PUBLIC, including, but not limited to,  RETIRED people.

If you are a member of AARP, ASK them where YOUR money goes?

Here is a hint, NOT to help YOU.  AARP is endorsing the new Democratic Health Care plan(s) for cold, hard cash.  AARP does not even NEED you to be a member any longer.  AARP is making more money from selling insurance and our “GOVERNMENT” than they get from members.  By endorsing the Democrat Health Care plan(s), they will INCREASE their income from insurance.  This INCREASE in insurance premiums will come from YOU, because of reductions in Medicare and Medicaid.

If I have not been clear, let me try again.  AARP wants the “Governement” to reduce Medicare and Medicaid, so that, Seniors (retired persons) will find it necessary to purchase (spend more of their own money) insurance to cover the reductions.  AARP will only be only too happy to provide this insurance.

If you do not want to believe me, do your own research.  You can start here.

I have also called these plans the Democrat Health Care plan(s), because that is what they are.  They have not worked with anyone, but a select few (not even all the Democarts are involved) to draft these “plans”.

Also, how can AARP endorse a plan without reading it??  How do I know they have not read it, you ask.  Because even the Senators and Representatives that are voting on the plans, have NOT even SEEN the plans, let alone read them.

Call your representatives, tell them to read the bills, AND explain them to YOU!!!!  What will it cost YOU if you do nothing????

How much do YOU pay in taxes??

April 1, 2009

Before you read any further, I would like to ask you to think about your answer.  How much do YOU pay in taxes???

Here is the Wikipedia definition of taxes.

We define taxes as ANY amount of money that we are compelled to pay the Government.  The government/politicians (past and present) use many different words to define what they TAKE from us, the citizens.  These range from taxes to fees, fines, levies, tolls, etc.

Here is a chart that we have compiled that gives a rough estimation for the amount of taxes that people pay per state.  We have done two cases, the first is a person with a $30,000 Adjusted Gross Income, and the second is a person with a $100,000 adjusted Gross Income.  For a more detailed breakdown of our calculations and where we arrived at the rates click here.Tax Rates

To keep this simple we have assumed a Single Tax Filer and we are not going to include the people in this country that, according to the press, do not pay any(?) taxes.

This is where we would like to start the discussion.

As you can see our basic calculations show that someone making $30,000 can expect to pay a minimum 26.86% in Wyoming, up to a maximum (when we say maximum, we mean in our calculations, this does not include PASS THROUGH taxes) 46.34% in New Jersey.  That means that for every $1 that you earn in Wyoming you will pay 27 cents to the government.  Another way of looking at this number, you have to work until the middle of March before you earn any money for yourself.  In New Jersey, for every $1 that you earn you will pay 46 cents.  You have to work into June before you earn any money for yourself.

These calculations are CONSERVATIVE, meaning that we feel any errors that we have made, actually produce a lower tax rate than reality.  We have assumed, for instance, that this tax payer never buys alcohol or cigarettes.  The taxes on these products is ASTRONOMICAL.  Also, we have not included in our calculations the matching amounts (federal tax and medicare) that an employer pays, on the workers behalf.  This amounts to another 7.65% of the filer’s earnings.  Just add it to the above numbers.  These taxes are paid by the employer, so they are a part of doing business and are included in the final price of products.  Ultimately this tax is paid by the final consumer.  Just because we have not included it in our calculation, does NOT mean that this filer does not pay it.  Another tax that is not included is any telecommunications taxes or fees.  If you have a telephone, you pay something.  If you use the internet, you pay something.

How much of what you pay for any product, can be attributed to a tax?  Did the company, that you purchased the product from, have any shipping?  They paid tax on any fuel used in transportation, and have included that amount in the final purchase price you paid.  I guarantee it.  If they do not include it, they are operating at a loss and will not be in business long.  This is basic and not the only example of taxes that are PASSED THROUGH to the final consumer.

How much do you think you should pay in Taxes?

Do you feel that it should take 60,000 pages, of Tax Code, to compel people to pay these taxes?

Write your Representatives and Senators, both local and federal.  This is the only way we can change the status quo.
