No new ideas???

PRESIDENT BARACK OBAMA: They have not come up with a single, solitary new idea to address the challenges of the American people.

I am getting sick and tired of hearing President Obama say these words.  Let me be the one to challenge the President to a debate on the truthfulness of the statement, and the implication that he is ATTEMPTING to make.

First.   When he says they, he means the Republicans.  OK, I agree with the President. “They” have NOT offered up any NEW ideas. 

The ideas that they have offered up have, however, been PROVEN effective in the recent past.  There are three large examples, since the start of the industrial revolution, and they were done by President Calvin Coolidge, President John F. Kennedy, and President Ronald Reagan.  That is two Republicans and one DEMOCRAT.  Let me say this again.  These ideas, mainly CUTTING taxes, have been done by both parties, in the difficult times (some say worse than the “Great Depression”) of the early 20’s (have you heard of the Roaring 20’s?), the difficult times of the early 60’s, and the oil/confidence recession of the late 70’s/early 80’s.  I would argue that the tax cuts of  Reagan, and the temporary defeat of communist Soviet Union, produced the great expansion of the 90’s and first part of 2000’s.  If you have more questions, please ask, please research, please become informed.  You may or may not agree with my assertions, but I will debate them.  Let’s see who can make the best case.

So far the President’s statement is absolutely TRUE!!

Second.  Lets examine the implication that President Obama is making with his statement.  His implication is, “We have come up with a single, solitary new idea to address the challenges of the American people.”  When he says “we”, he means the Democrats.

NO!!!!  Mr. President YOU have not come up with any NEW ideas.  Your ideas are all OLDER than the ones, discussed above, put forward by the “they” (Republicans).  Not only that, but, they have been the PROVEN failures of Socialism, Communism, Fascism and Statism.  These are the ideas of Stalin, Lenin, Mussolini, Hitler.  STOP, please do not dismiss this argument because I have used the dreaded Hitler word!!!!  I am NOT comparing President Obama’s ideas to the MURDEROUS ideas of Hitler.  I am comparing their economic policies.  All of these policies lead to Statism.  I am sorry that I can not cite the author of the next statement, but it is not mine.  I am repeating it, because it is true.  “The problem with all of these political systems is, that in the end, there can be only ONE.”  Meaning, they will all tend towards a Dictatorship.  Examples of this are Cuba, Venezuela, Iraq, Iran, North Korea, the old Soviet Union and eastern bloc.

So, Mr. President, I will TAKE the no NEW ideas from the Republicans that are currently being offered, because they have been PROVEN to work!!  I will DECLINE your NEW ideas, that are just OLDER ideas, that have been proven Failures.  The definition of STUPIDITY (remember the Cambridge Police?) is doing the same thing over and over and expecting a different result.  Lets decide who is being STUPID!!
